CompTIA Cloud+ certification SysAdmins

Cloud computing — private, public, and hybrid — is part of almost every enterprise data center strategy. As a result, there is a strong demand for IT professionals with the skills required to maintain and manage cloud infrastructure services. The CompTIA Cloud+ certification validates that a certified professional has the expertise needed for a cloud data center job. Typical job titles that may require CompTIA Cloud+ certification include SysAdmins, Network Administrator, Cloud Engineer, Systems or Network Engineer, and Data Center Manager. The CompTIA Cloud+ certification validates the candidate’s ability to:
Analyze system requirements to successfully execute workload migrations to the cloud
Determine proper allocation of cloud resources and apply necessary changes based on performance data
Apply appropriate technologies and processes, including automation and orchestration, to ensure desired system performance
Implement appropriate security controls given requirements
Troubleshoot capacity, automation, connectivity and security issues related to cloud implementations

Required exam: Earning the CompTIA Cloud+ certification requires passing one exam — CompTIA Cloud+ (CV0-002).
Prerequisites: None.
Recommended experience: While there are no specific prerequisites for the exam, CompTIA recommends that candidates have at least 2 to 3 years of experience in system administration.
